Accessory Workshop : Playing With Concepts

Today was the first day of our accessory workshop and we was previously told to bring in a range of objects that we can work with to produce an accessory. I took a trip to the 99p store and bought a range of things keeping in mind that I'm trying to make an accessory so I had to ensure the things I bought could be worked with. I also found a range of things in my house and on my way to uni as I wanted some organic objects such as leaves as it fits with my theme.

I found it hard to start the actual process as I didn't know what to do with my objects for my technique samples. This task was meant for me to explore a range of technique samples which I may use in my final accessory. Once I started to understand that what my tutors wanted me to do was not to make little cute accessorize but experiment, I found the process a little easier. I feel like I was able to see what my different objects could produce and how each of them work together giving me different design ideas in my head. I asked one of my tutors and some of my peers their opinions and also asked them to pick which concept they liked best and nearly all of them said they liked the one where I used blue straws and tied them together with string. Using this information I'm going to produce same developments in my book to try and explore the concept further. Overall I've leant today that I have to think outside the box in order to produce something unique and successful.

( Authors own 29/09/2014 )

I would say my most successful piece was the blue straws as when I wanted to develop each of my ideas it was very easy to development my original concept and the development for this just flowed out of my head which I think shows how successful that concept was. I think near to the end I got lazy with my ideas which I think shows in my last two final outcomes, this was because I wanted to rush to ensure I had as close to five final concepts in the time given which was about an hour. What I found hard was trying to find was to combine my objects together using the tools I had and was available to me. I mostly used string to tie together objects and pieces, as I felt that was the strongest option aside from using the glue gun however it was very time consuming.

Now I've produced four concepts I'm going to develop and explore my favorites and use that to start thinking of the accessory I want to produce. I can see why we had to do this task today as it helped me to start thinking of initial ideas and  explore what I can and cant do with my objects. It also made me rethink any original ideas I had started to think of in the beginning for my accessory which I think is it good thing.

Knitting Workshop: Final Day

Today was the final day of our knitting workshop and I have really enjoyed this, I've leaned soo many new skills and have  experimented causing me to invent new techniques but also make mistake and learn from them. With knitting I've come to understand that you have to make mistakes in order to improve and prevent mistakes from happening.

For our final task we had to make at least four A4 sized knits with at least 3-4 techniques on each one as a pair. As a pair we decided to do two knits each and  assist the other who's knitting. We ran out of time so we only completed two A4 knits which we was very pleased with. Our tutor also quickly showed us how to weave in other fabrics or yards into the knit which came in very helpful. I enjoyed working with my partner as we work well with each other and we was both on the same page with what we wanted to do which is also important in a partnership.

The first knit we completed had four techniques on it which includes a decorative hem, weaving, drop stitch and lace. We wanted to go for a girly and 'cute' look which I think we achieved with the lace weaving, colour choice and lace to finish.

The second knit we completed was more challenging, this was because there was much more to think of and required a lot of concentration. With this knit we have four techniques again which include weaving, stripes, honeycomb and lace. We kept the same colour scheme but added the green for a pop of colour and also because the green goes with the theme of my sketch book so far. I used a much thicker yarn which had greens and blues in it to weave and then above I the weaved in newspaper from the metro I collected this morning. Both the yarn and newspaper was hard to work with. The newspaper kept ripping when wrapping around the needles. The think textured yarn was much easier to warp with however very hard to knit over as it was very thick. My partner helped me cut out stripes of paper trying to find a page that was interesting by having a range of colours, pictures and writing on it which will all add to the finish effect. We tried to create a repeat pattern, but didn't go so well as we lost count of the amount of knits each section had which is why the honeycomb on the bottom and the honeycomb on the top look very different. Next time when doing this we need to write down how many knits each section has. Although we thought we was well prepared as we sketched out each design so we remember what we're trying to achieve, we didn't think of adding in the amount of knits.

We still have two more knits to complete which we are going to on Tuesday together as we're now allowed to use the knitting machines without assistance. At the end of today we the whole group pinned their work to the board and we went through what we liked about different knits and which ones we think worked best and why. There was one knit I really like as I loved the colour scheme and techniques used. This pair used red as the base colour of the knit and added white lace trimming which worked well as the red and white contrast gassing each other. Also in the middle of their knot they had weaved in yard and made a love heart at of it which I thought was very cute and interesting as we did no learn this so I knew they went out of their way to learn new techniques.

Knitting Workshop: Day Two

Day two

Today we leaned how to make five more techniques with our partners from Monday. Me and my partner collected our knitting machine and set it up as we leaned how to do it the lesson before. When unpacking the machine we realised we had the same machine from Monday which was really weird. Our tutor first showed us how to create a decorative hem. To start of with you make a plain knit with a row of lace ensuring to count the amount of knits I made. After doing this I used the transfer tool to pick up the first knit made to cast it onto the needle directly above going from side to side, then the middle and the working my way outwards. I then put the weights on the hem I just creating and knit it together to seal it. The lace hole created a zigzag like design on the bottom of the hem. this is a great way to seal the knit and also add a decorative technique.

The next technique I leaned was stripes, this required two yarns. After using the first yarn to create a plain knit or hem you then take the yarn out of the feeder and place it to the hook on the related side. You then set up your second yarn and put it in the feeder and your ready to knit, creating stripes. I counted how many times I knitted with each colour to ensure the pattern is consistent throughout. I really enjoyed creating this and was feeling very confident with this technique so I added a hem and honeycomb to it, however just when I was getting conformable my knit dropped off after changing my yarn. I'm still not sure why this happened but I'm pleased with the small sample I made and I think the different colours and yarns worked well together.

I third sample I made was called orange peel and created a spiral effect, this was one of the most difficult techniques I've made so far. Its very simpler to creating stripes as i have to change yarns but the difference is I put the carriage on hold (number one) meaning any needles on D will not knit and all needles on B-C will knit. To create this affect i moved each needle up in groups of twos and then repeated with the next colour.

Knit number four is called the pyramid and is very similar to the orange peel. I put the carriage on hold I put the center needles on C and put the yard under and then over all the needles on the right hand side so that the yarn does not get caught. I then put one needle down one by one on each side pulling on the new knit which is being created. I felt very comfortable with this technique so I also made a lace design the the middle of the pyramid. When one needle is left on C I then made my way back pulling up a needle from each side creating the pyramid shape. After I was finished I switched yards and put my carriage back on to two creating the 3D pyramid design.

The firth and final design made today was the fringe technique. After producing a plain knit I then got a second coloured yarn and placed it on the flour. I then bought out all the needles I wanted the fringe on and took a rule and used it to e-warp round with the second yarn looping connecting the needle and rule together. I found this difficult as one sudden move can caused issues such as the yarn falling of the needle after wrapping it around the rule or an uneven fringe caused by having the rule diagonally angled which happened to me.

Today was really enjoyable but was much more intense as we had to produce more samples in the same amount of time so me and my partner worked through break and lunch to ensure we completed our samples trying not rush which causing more errors. Overall I really enjoyed today as we learned more challenging techniques.

Knitting Workshop Intro....

Day One

We started our knitting workshop on Monday where we was introduced to using the knitting machines. We was split up in groups of two as there was not enough machines to work alone and working in groups allowed me and my partner to work and learn together and also help each other when in need rather than waiting or asking for help from our tutor.

First we went through the basic rules everyone should know when using the knitting machine, this include:

  • Tie all long hair back away from the face.
This is because hair can get caught in the knitting needles or carriage.
  • Roll sleeves back -big/ loose knit clothing
Rolling long sleeves back is important  as sleeves can easily get caught when knitting especially big/loose knitting clothing as its easier for the needle to caught onto due to the big holes.
  • No drinks on the table.
This is because if the drinks get knocked over and spill into the knitting beds this will cause problems as the knitting bed is oiled and water and oil don't mix.

We then went through the basics of the knitting machine and leaning how to set up the machine and pack it away.
  • The carriage is what I move up and down to knit.
  • The tension knob is on top of the carriage and determines how loose or tight you want the knit to be. The higher the number the looser the knit. When using acrylic yarn 7-8 is the best tension to use which I used for all my knits throughout the week.
  • The carriage stays on the right hand side.
  • The bed is lettered A-D, when the needle is on A that means it is out of action and will not knit but when the needle is on B,C, or D the needle is in action.
  • The yarn feeder is where you place the yarn after e-wrapping to secure it.
  • Each number is in tens and you always start from 0 going outwards from both directions.

When ever you knit no matter what king of knit technique I'm making I have to knit a plain knit. You pull down all the needles you want to use to letter D. Then you start casting on by e-wrapping the yarn, you do this by going inside and out of each needle making sure you don't pull too hard. For the first ten knits after pulling the carriage across I then had to pull the needles back down to D. After doing this ten times, add the craw weights  and now you can knit with ease. This is what you call a plain knit and is the simplest and most basic technique. This was very easy and me and my partner Dasiy completed our samples very quickly. However I made a few mistakes which are very noticeable this could of been due to a range of things such as my yarn may of missed a few needles causing a big hole.

The second knit we learned was called honeycomb, as it looks like a honeycomb with its hexagon like pattern. The first thing to do was to knit a plain knit following the steps but ensuring I count how many rows I knit as I'll need to repeat this to create the perfect shape/pattern. After completing the plain knit I got the transfer tool and used it to pick up two yarn loops from the bottom of the knit and transfer it onto the the needle directly above and repeated across. After this I then knitted the same amount of times as I did previously and repeated. I really enjoyed this technique as I felt it was easy to do but produced something which looked technically difficult. When producing this technique you have to make sure you concentrate as it is key to creating a consistent pattern.

Knit number three is called lace as it produces a pattern with open holes in the work. You start first as always by creating a plain knit. You then need the transfer tool again but the side with one end. you use the transfer tool to pull out a needle, the push in the needle picking up the yarn and then move it over to the next needle. To ensure the hole is only created once per needle you have to line up the needles on D.  If you don't do this you'll create a drop stitch which I learned how to do next. The lace technique was trial and error. I made a lot of little mistakes such as forgetting to line up the needles, moving the yarn to the wrong needle and dropping the yarn when transferring it. I kept going and eventually I got the hang of it and started to enjoy it. The lace gave a girly and feminine look which I really like and tired to create but didn't go so way. This is another technique which takes concentration as if you make one mistake there's no going back or correcting.

The last technique we leaned today was called a drop stitch. The drop stitch is very similar to lace as you follow nearly the same steps. The only difference is when using the transfer tool to transfer the yarn loop after picking it up, you drop it rather than carrying it on to the next needle. To stop the drop stitch you have to pull all the needles inline. When doing this technique I decided to change the yarn I was using a more ragged and shabby yarn as I felt it went well with the technique. The technique gave an old and ruff look to the sample which I liked. I've seen jumpers which have this technique on it especially with mans wear as it has a manly and antic feel.

Working with our tutor today was very enjoyable, I've leaned a lot today and he was always there to give a helping hand. I have never knitted with a knitting machine before but I have by hand however the two are not the same. It was very enjoyable and kind of relaxing so I'm sure I'm going to enjoy the rest of the weeks. I love learning from the mistakes I made and trying to work out what I was doing wrong. For example in some of my samples there are loops that have been created this is likely down to me working the carriage too quickly and pulling it too far way from the needles I was using creating the loops. I also enjoyed working with my partner as she was a great help and we encouraged each other. We completed all our task and work well with each other to ensure both of us had enough time to create our samples.

Hot Dogs To Win

Today was my favorite day out of the three working with Chris as our tutor.

For the first part of the day we leaned how to put a pattern on a basic block fashion illustration and how to make and display colour plates from the pattern. A colour plate is important when making templates to display how a pattern will look on a garment so that colours can be and used again to build a collection.

Afterwards we was put into groups of five to create a garment from all our patterns. We decided to call our group HOT DOGS which is pretty self explanatory. We went through all our patterns and why we liked it getting each others opinions. We then all decided up alter our patterns so that they all link each other. We did this first by choosing a colour scheme which was earthy tones. After reassessing everyone's patterns seeing what worked well and what didn't we then made are last final edits and printed our prints A3 size before lunch. When we came back from lunch we all now how two different patterns each in A3 size or two of the same pattern in A3.

We picked a mannequin up and laid out all our designs see which patterns link with which. We then started free styling seeing what worked with what and experimenting and we came up with this...
What I liked about this task is it allowed me to work in a group to create a final outcome (garment) which I haven't done before. This meant we had a helping hand and a range of opinions to help me. The best part was creating the final outcome because all my team members were very competitive (just like me) so we all wanted to make sure we produced the best garment (which we did). It allowed me to also see how my pattern may look on a garment and start to think about the type if fiber I want to print on and why. We was timed for this task and at the end each group had to present their garment and explain their design to everyone else. After which each group received feedback from the rest of the class and also Chris ( which was very helpful). The class then voted on which garment thy likes best and Chris also said which garment worked best. Of course he chose out group as he like how all our patterns worked together and the structural shape.

Hot dogs won !!!

Life Drawing

Today we had Ollie as our tutor and our task was to create a range of life drawings experimenting with different drawing styles, different medias and different poses by the model. Today was one of my favorite days as we had creative freedom to do what we liked and the atmosphere was relaxed. I really enjoyed working with Oille as he was very encouraging and knowledgeable. He timed us with every drawing causing me to produce different outcomes which I liked. We was sometimes timed for five minutes and other times for twenty or even fifteenth.

I used charcoal , water colour paints, pencil, Marker pen & fine liner pen for my work in a range of ways trying to explore different drawing styles. I've done life drawing before so I was no stranger to the process and knew what to expect. I'm happy with all my outcomes (for once) and when I had a look around at other peoples work I saw some lovely pieces. When life drawing your looking at the structure of the human body, analysing every section. This is helpful because a designer you have to imagine how your garment will look on the human body. How it will move, drape and hang against the body is important.

LFW

On Monday & Tuesday me and some other members in my class decided to go LFW to gain inspiration. I was looking for personal fashion(styling) inspiration and also was taking pictures of people's street style that I felt related and could help me with my theme of structure and attachment.

On Monday I felt like the day was pretty unsuccessful as there was not a lot of people and I barely took any photos. I decided to go on Monday as a last minute decision so I rented a cannon camera from uni and honestly I felt like it wasn't worth it . It was my first year going so I decided I definitely have to go the following day after my interview.

So we went again on Tuesday and I most say it was on of the best decision I've  made in my lifetime. Not only did I take a large range of photos we got into a fashion show for FREEE 99 !! And just my luck the show directly linked to my theme. The designer who designed the collection was Hakaan Yiddrim and I adored his work. My favorite piece was the final one which was a black low cut v neck line dress with exposed sides and a yellow and black detailed bottom half with double slits worn by a beautiful model who had her hair all slicked back in a ponytail and natural makeup. This was my first 'professional' fashion show and it was a great experience that I'm not going to forget in a hurry.

Not only did I enjoy a fashion show for free but I also met some great people and received a free phone case. It was an all round great day. Now I'm going to print my photos and put them in my sketch book and use it to inspire me and develop my own ideas.

LFW 2014 was a success !

First Steps

Today we was exploring the basics of Photoshop as a lot of the class were beginners like me. We went through the basics of Photoshop going through the tools and then we started creating repeat patterns. The objective of this lesson was to be able to create our own repeat patterns by Friday using our new found skills thinking of structural attachment in the singular. I learned today that my artwork/ commercial work should always be at 300dpi, how to make layers, how to unlock layers and how to half drop repeat.
We looked at some designers and their use of repeat patterns in their work. Some of the designers that I really loved were Preen by Thornton Bregazzi SS2015, Chris Topher Kane's jumper which had an artist feel using paint brush strokes making it look alive and real and lastly Mendal which used a different type of fiber to print on.

I really enjoyed this lesson as I felt I leaned a lot and we was in an relax atmosphere. However I found it hard to keep up as I felt out tutor was going very fast and spoke very low although mentioning this a few times by other people. I was not the only one who felt this way so most of of decided to go at our own pace, helping each other and we still complete the task on time. Out tutor was very helpful if needed so by coming to everyone in the class after explaining the steps to see if anyone needed help or was having difficulties. I'm going to use today and tomorrow to practice the new skills I've learned as I know I'll be needing it.

Forming And Transforming

Today we was working with Rebecca to create creative and abstract designs out of paper on a mannequin.

The first task was to draw a basic shape on paper taking inspiration from my sketch book and cut out the shape eight times (about A4 size). After which I stuck twenty pins into my mannequin and move three mannequins clockwise. We was then given a chosen section of the mannequin to work on such as the back, bottom section and shoulders. Rebecca then timed as all for five minutes as we worked on another persons mannequin using their shapes. After the five minutes were up I then took a picture of what I created and went back to my mannequin to see what someone else had created and repeated the process. What I enjoyed about this task was that I had the opportunity to work with other peoples shapes creating something completely new each time while exploring different shapes. I liked the fact we was timed because it encouraged me to make bold and quick decisions creating some great concepts.

The next task we had was to draw the same shape again but much bigger (about a meter long). I had to use the shape to create what ever I liked giving me creative freedom to explore. I found this task more challenging as I was working with just one whole block shape so I felt restricted.

After this this task I then had to use pattern cutting paper (as it's more flexible) to draw the same shape again and try and create 3D designs off the mannequin by manipulating and pinning the shapes and then working it onto my mannequin. I didn't understand the task so I decided to look around I see what other people were doing which gave me a better understanding. It wasn't one of my favorite tasks from today but I understand the objective.

The last task was my favorite as I felt it was easier to explore different ideas and less restricting while trying to manipulate the paper. What the task was, was to draw a line which had curves and shape to it and then cut the line out as thin as possible and then use the paper like it represented a seam and use it to create designs.

Five Piece Collection

Today I was working with Naomi who is a fashion stylist but has done a large range of other career paths including dancing & modelling. We was working from our 50 designs we was previously set for homework on Monday. The homework consistent of us using the theme to design 50 garments in our sketch book by today.

What we was told to do today was to pick garments from our 50 designs to make a five piece collection, making sure each piece interlinked with each other showing a story. After picking out my final five outfits we had to then draw front and back views of each piece using colour, but not forgetting we can only use one colour ( in different shades) for our final outcome from this whole project. So this meant that these designs should also be in one colour so I can start thinking about colour plates.

This has been one of my most enjoyable days because of the love  I have for styling and designing and this task was a mixture of both. Although it was intensive and very fast past I was still able to keep up. I decided to use the colour green for my final collection as I was looking at a banana leaf and the structure of the leaf. I wanted to keep within the nature theme rather that using a less obvious colour such as pink for a juxtaposition. I used water colours as it was the only media I had with me and I also find it very quick and easy to work with. I found my image of the banana leaf from my book when looking for images for my structure concept board, so when I was looking for inspiration for my designs I knew it would be perfect !

To sum up today in one work I would say " interesting".

Keep Up !

Today I was working with John who is a fashion stylist who was teaching us how to take an element from a piece of clothing or object and use it as Inspiration to sketch a collection.
I used a pattern from my bracelet I was wearing and used it to design pockets, sleeves, seams, jackets, coats, trousers and skirts while being timed for five minutes. This meant I had no time to do intricate designs or patterns.

He also went through with us some popular designers and what makes them unique, looking at their iconic logos, patterns and colours. For example, Versace have their iconic gold and black or gold and white colour scheme with patterns which included Greek keys making it easily recognisable as a Versace item.

I found today challenging as I felt as I was not in control, this is because this task required me to translate what ever came to my head as fast as I can on to paper. The challenging part was me not being in control, normally when I design I like to map out the idea in my head, then sketch my idea in pencil and finally go over my final design in fine liner and/or colour. With this task there was no time for that. I had to loosen up and draw and think at the same time. This is an important skill I need so today I'm going to practise doing this by taking an element from something in my room such as a perfume bottle and look at the structure and texture of the bottle. Practising and mastering the skill of being able to design initial designs under pressure. what I did enjoy about the task is how I came up with unexpected designs and rather than rubbing out mistakes I was forced to incorporate the mistake into the design creating unexpected final outcomes.

Overall I felt like today was very successful, John was very helpful and I learnt some very valuable skills that I know need to practise as I know "Practise makes perfect".

Concept Board On Attachment

Final Outcome
Today we made two concept boards, one for each word of our themes which is structure and attachment. A concept board is a board which visually displays images of ideas. We was told previously to bring in minimum five images & one text for each word relating to each theme.

I photocopied some images from books in both colour and black and white, and also had images of my own which I took from the objects I previously bought in on Monday.

For my concept board on attachment my images consisted of:
  •  An A4 colour photocopy from a book called Insects and Flowers A Biological Partnership of a bee collecting pollen from a flower. I picked this image because it clearly represents the theme of attachment and I love the bright colours.
  • A4 black and white photocopy of crystals salt sorrel from a book, which represents both attachment and structure. I found this image very interesting as the range of different shaped and sized structures which are in white against the black background is a great contrast. Crystals are made up from molecules, atoms or ions, this represent the attachment theme.
  • A4 up-close photo taken by myself of my floral pencil case which is a personal attachment.
  • On top of the black and white crystal image is a photocopy from another book which is a photo of a beauty treatment with gauze mask representing the attachment females have to staying beautiful. I decided to isolate this image by cutting away the background as the image is so powerful and dominate. I placed it in front of the black and white background slightly of center surrounded by images in colour which allows the image to stand out.
  • I then had three smaller images of photos representing the four basic type of human  attachment which I collected from a book. All four images are the same concepts of a human mouth against an isolating black background. I picked this images as I like the way one colour is used per theme and although all images are very simple they are all very effective and clear. The green themed image shows attachment to alcoholic, The grey themed one shows attachment to drugs/smoking, The purple themed image shows sexual attachment and the red themed image shows attachment to food.
  • I also had images of different currency money some of which are from books and the other my own photo, representing the attachment humans have for money and the control it holds.
I found this task a little difficult as it was my first time making a concept board and as I didn't know beforehand that the images I picked will be used for this task and didn't have enough images to select from. I played around with different concepts I  decided of this one but honestly not sure if I like my final outcome yet. I believe my board clearly shows the theme making it successful, right ? However because I'm not sure if I'm happy with my chosen layout and images so does that still make it successful ? I believe not. But I've learned a lot from the task which will help me when doing this again. For one, next time I need to select a larger range of images and more of a range of sizes so I can have more layout ideas to play with.

Victoria & Albert Museum Research Visit

Me outside a classic London house near the V&A

Today I also went to visit the Victoria & Albert museum which is one of the largest museums that display art and design collections. I've been to this museum a couple of times so I knew what I was looking for keeping the structural and attachment theme in mind. As I walked in I went straight to the roman sculptures and I was attracted to the detailing. What I  realised was that all the sculptures were made of one medium (normally marble)  which consisted of one colour and yet still stood out due to the hand made sculpted detail.

After walking around a bit more exploring each sculpture, taking photos and learning a little history on each one. I decided to start sketching a few designs using the the sculptures in front of me as inspiration, looking at the structure and the way in which the clothing draped and hang on the body. I
used a pencil and fine liner and made a conscious decision not to use colour as I want to contraction on the detail. I timed myself on each design so I was able to draw from what I could see not giving myself time to over think.

50 Word Review On The Saatchi Gallery

Today as a group we went to the Saatchi gallery in Duke of York. This is a London gallery opened by Charles Saatchi that displays contemporary art. It was my first time visiting the gallery and I found it very stimulating as they have a large range of art styles.

Introducing Our Theme Of Strutural Attachment

Today was the first official day of my course and we was introduced to what our theme was going to be which is 'attachment and structure". We explored briefly as a group the two themes and what they could mean to different people.

Some ideas that came to mind during that session regrading structure are: buildings, society, writing, science, religion & family.
We also came up with some basic first ideas for attachment which our: emotional union, family, relationship, link & bond.

We was told previously when I came in on the induction day on Wednesday 27th August to bring in three objects that reflex the word 'structure' and three objects that reflex the word 'attachment'.

What is structure ?

Well.... I quickly searched in the oxford dictionary for the definition of the word means and this is what I found:

noun

1. The arrangement of and relations between the parts or elements of something complex:

Using this information to help I selected  my three objects which were a gold bracelet/ring, a VOSS water glass water bottle, a scoubidou and my pencil case which had a floral print.

 Attachment

For the word attachment I deceived to bring in three objects, which where:

  1. A needle and thread
  2. A tiara that my mum bought for me in year 6 for my Holy communion which I have saved for over seven years.
  3. A dollar note reflecting the attachment the word as a whole has for money

I also checked the oxford dictionary on the word 'attachment' to see what the standard definition of the work is:

noun

1. An extra part or extension that is or may be attached to something to perform a particular function

We was then told to use the objects we had to make a series of drawings. I decided to zone up close to some of my objects so I was able to take selected parts from them and incorporate them to build a collage of drawings and patterns.:

I found today useful because it helped me to get back into the motion of experimental drawing, since during the summer holidays I can truthfully but shamefully say I didn't touch my sketch book. However about half way through I was starting to lose interest and I am sure this is down to the objects I decided to bring it. Some of the things I picked lacked in interest detail, structure etc. which made it very hard for me to draw from them. But overall today was a successfully day and I got ideas flowing through me head.
