Today I also went to visit the Victoria & Albert museum which is one of the largest museums that display art and design collections. I've been to this museum a couple of times so I knew what I was looking for keeping the structural and attachment theme in mind. As I walked in I went straight to the roman sculptures and I was attracted to the detailing. What I realised was that all the sculptures were made of one medium (normally marble) which consisted of one colour and yet still stood out due to the hand made sculpted detail.
After walking around a bit more exploring each sculpture, taking photos and learning a little history on each one. I decided to start sketching a few designs using the the sculptures in front of me as inspiration, looking at the structure and the way in which the clothing draped and hang on the body. I
