LFW

On Monday & Tuesday me and some other members in my class decided to go LFW to gain inspiration. I was looking for personal fashion(styling) inspiration and also was taking pictures of people's street style that I felt related and could help me with my theme of structure and attachment.

On Monday I felt like the day was pretty unsuccessful as there was not a lot of people and I barely took any photos. I decided to go on Monday as a last minute decision so I rented a cannon camera from uni and honestly I felt like it wasn't worth it . It was my first year going so I decided I definitely have to go the following day after my interview. 

So we went again on Tuesday and I most say it was on of the best decision I've  made in my lifetime. Not only did I take a large range of photos we got into a fashion show for FREEE 99 !! And just my luck the show directly linked to my theme. The designer who designed the collection was Hakaan Yiddrim and I adored his work. My favorite piece was the final one which was a black low cut v neck line dress with exposed sides and a yellow and black detailed bottom half with double slits worn by a beautiful model who had her hair all slicked back in a ponytail and natural makeup. This was my first 'professional' fashion show and it was a great experience that I'm not going to forget in a hurry.

Not only did I enjoy a fashion show for free but I also met some great people and received a free phone case. It was an all round great day. Now I'm going to print my photos and put them in my sketch book and use it to inspire me and develop my own ideas. 

LFW 2014 was a success !
